Little Man

Angel Awake

This week we are dealing with nasal congestion and lots of snoring, waking every 2 hours or so! Mommy and baby are both tired. Daddy probably didn't get much sleep either. I am determined it will get better. Cereal is going better, but he still would rather be fed a bottle, seeing as how it is much easier. Here is a pic from a photo shoot last week at Casey Cooper's house. Even though he doesn't sleep, he is still an angel!!

Long Day

Well the shots went well - for both of us! Then Daddy met us for lunch, what a nice surprise! We had a long day though, so J is in bed early. Hopefully that doesn't mean waking 3 times in the night (like we did last night!) The boy is ravenous...but we do have a slight advantage tonight. Cereal. First solids! Here are some shots with my new camera that show our experience. I think he liked it!

On the agenda for today -- vacuum, laundry, exercise, make dinners for neighbors, get ready for company, meal planning for the week, all the Monday stuff. Looking forward to a rice cereal dream for supper - J's first attempt at eating solid foods! Will post a pic on this for sure! Hope it's a treat for him because he has a few shots tomorrow :(

Hopefully Mommy won't cry....long!

I would love to have time to scrapbook and read. He is taking a nap as we speak in his own room, which is a good thing. Maybe I'll grab my camera book and try to filter out the big words into some user friendly tips.

Another great day - getting ready for quite a busy week. Company's coming, lots of outings, and photography session at the end of the week. Looking forward to learning about how to use my camera. And taking pictures every step of the way! J slept through the night and has had great naps all weekend long! Why do the weekends have to end???

Weekend Wonders

Hi all! Today was a great day. We took Jacob shopping and Mommy got a new camera!! I am so excited. Now I have to figure out how to use it. It's a "big girl" camera, with lenses and lots of non-auto settings. I think the pictures will make it worth it though. The weather is absolutely beautiful...feels like fall. I wish it was like this all summer long! We also booked a vacation for just the two of us this fall for the mountains of North Carolina!! Yea today!!! Jacob is very excited about the new camera, as you can see.
